We had a wonderful stay here for our Family Christmas. The home is adorable, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, including festive Christmas touches that made it feel extra special for the holiday.One thing that really stood out is that this is a truly well-equipped kitchen. So many places claim that, but this one actually delivers. It made cooking for a group easy and enjoyable, and we appreciated having basic seasonings and all the essentials already on hand.The hosts clearly put a lot of care into anticipating guests’ needs. From the welcome sign, to the wine gift, to small but meaningful details like doggie poop bags by the back door, everything felt intentional and welcoming. The information provided ahead of time and in the house answered nearly every question we could have had, which made the stay feel very smooth and stress-free. Overall, this was a lovely place to gather, and we’d happily recommend it to others!

We stayed at the Yellowbird retreat when we were in town for a wedding. My grandkids enjoyed the outdoor swingset. The house is kid friendly with plenty of space for everyone. The cottage came in handy when an extended family member needed a place to stay. The only reason I docked a star under cleanliness is due to ants. We had many sightings of ants. The owner responded quickly and sent out someone to spray. After that we saw less ants and some dead ones, but the next day we saw many ants again. We made the owners aware of the issue and they handled everything efficiently. If we need a place to stay in Walla Walla, we would stay here again.

The house was perfect for three families. One family downstairs, one family in the cottage, and one family upstairs in the main house. The kitchen is small but well equipped.
